I have an Acer nitro V 16 AI and I love it. Have had MINOR bugs with it and was able to fix them quickly. Runs games like Arc raiders and satisfactory smooth as butter on balanced setting. Zero overheating problems, very minor driver issues, nothing my small brain could not fix. It does not throttle

I have a acer Nitro v 15 with rtx 5050 but i5 13420H variant and there is a vbios on the acer site for rtx 5050 ( atleast for my variant - anv15-52 ) Flashing that vbios fixes issues, I got my laptop 3 weeks ago and i flashed it on day 1 and I've had 0 issues with games.

I updated my driver in Nitro V16 AI Laptop or same as bonasicht. It was not a delightful experience for me. As it keep repeating crash or kernal heap memory. But I solve it by reverting into the acer or recommend driver. It may be different for you, In my case it was not a good idea to update the nv

i feel you, first time upgrading can be nerve wracking. your nitro v15 uses DDR4 sodimm ram, not ddr5. crucial or corsair vengeance are solid picks. you want a 16gb kit (2x8gb) or a single 8gb stick if one slot is free. this Crucial RAM Kit works great and has a uk link. also check youtube for 'acer

those scores look about right for a nitro v with ryzen or i5 - cpu multi is a bit low but single core is fine. the crashing isn't normal though. check event viewer under system logs for whea errors or nvlddmkm crashes right after it happens. i'd run memtest86 overnight because new ram fails sometime

This is caused by the acer's bios update which updated the EC logic, but it contains a bug where the fans cannot be controlled. I am also stuck with the same problem. But I would suggest you to press win+r and then typing msinfo32 and then check your bios version, if it says v1.26 then go to this we
