Considering getting a controller to use with Steam games. What are the pros and cons of the various types?

8BitDo makes a super solid controller for an unbeatable price. I have am Ultimate 2C and while I tend to prefer KBM in most games, it works fantastically for games that really need a controller. It's a major upgrade from the old 360 controller I was using. Biggest selling point for me was the price.

Old man needs help

if you need a controller, an 8bitdo ultimate 2c wireless can often be found for ~$20 and does the same thing for casual use

This is a reminder to check your stick

One big difference in stickdrift/jittering if you get a controller with a hall effect sensor. It has a whole different working principle compared to normal ones. As I see that gamesir has those, it will be a whole new level after you get used to the new geometry. Since i switched to an 8bitdo ultima

What are turbo controllers and can they get you banned?

To answer your other question, Amazon is probably the best resource if it's available to you, and probably the most common controller used on PC amongst this community would be the 8bitdo Ultimate 2C which is very budget friendly coming in at under $20 for the wired version https://a.co/d/0bQFmyRD T

Best controller for Linux?

I've never had any real trouble with wired Xbox controllers and the wireless 8bitdo Ultimate 2C is currently working fine for me (you do need Windows to update the firmware on the 8bitdo stuff, however).

Which 8Bitdo controller works 100% fine?

I use 8Bitdo Ultimate 2C and had no problems so far. I will say with Hollow Knight/Silksong, the native Linux version seems bad and running it with proton instead fixed a lot of my controller issues.

Want to love CachyOS but...

I use a 8bitdo Ultimate 2C and that has just been plug and play for me. It did stop working when I tried to install Xbox controller drivers for some reason, but worked fine again after I removed them.

3rd party Pro Controllers?

8BitDo's Ultimate 2C Bluetooh controllers are slightly cheaper than Pro Controllers, and I bought one on a whim, and somehow, I feel it blows even the official Pro Controller out of the water in more ways than one.

Gute Controller gesuchtt

Ich habe jetzt seit ungefähr einem dreiviertel Jahr einen 8bitdo Ultimate 2c, ich bin mehr als zufrieden damit. Günstiger Preis, gute Verarbeitung und funktioniert top.
