[Leak] Steam Controller Pre-Orders coming soon. Available for $99.

I have a hard time telling myself this is twice as good as the 8bitdo Ultimate 2 that I just paid $50 for...

Steam Controller Priced at $149 CAD

Sorry if this the wrong sub to ask this question, but why even buy the Steam controller if you aren't going to use the touch pads? For me that's the selling point, but if I didn't need the touch pads I would just stick to an 8bitdo ultimate 2, way more affordable and plenty of paddles/buttons.

any good reliable alternatives to the regular nintendo switch pro controller?

8BitDo Ultimate 2C. It's about 30 USD and honestly very good value with Hall effect sticks and button feel. I prefer the D-pad to both the Pro 1 and Pro 2 controllers, if that's something that matters to you.

It’s true, the snapback is definitely worse on the Switch 2 pro controller…

Just use one of the many, far cheaper, far more feature rich alternative options. 8bitdo ultimate 2, gamesir cyclone, etc. Competition has improved drastically since the switch 1 pro controller came out.

The Steam Controller sold out in 30 minutes, utterly breaking Steam in the process

As someone who loved the first Steam controller, and recognizes that even today 11 years later, you still can't buy any controller that has all the same features... it's been a long time coming. I'm very glad I was able to order one. The 8bitdo Ultimate 2 BT comes pretty close, and for a bit cheaper

What's the best controller money can buy?

Hi everyone! I'm not much of a controller collector myself, but the shoulder buttons on my trusted Nacon Revolution Pro 2 I've been using for 7 years (on a side note - I know this particular controller has been dunked on a lot by reviewers, but consider my experience with it a testament to its actua

Which is better? Buying an old school computer and playing the og fallout 1-2? Or Xbox 360 fallout 3 and NV?

Not sure how you're connecting a 360 controller to a PC. Most of them are wireless, and they run on a specific 2.4 GHz signal - there's an adapter that technically exists, but it's a pain in the backside getting your hands on one nowadays - if you're after a PC controller, you're better off buying a

The new Steam Controller from Valve is out now - some early thoughts

While I don't think Steam Controller is overpriced (at least not by much), controllers like 8bitdo Ultimate 2 offer a lot for 60 bucks. You get same TMR sticks, charging dock that can act as a Dongle (same way with the Steam Puck), additional shoulder and back buttons, gyro, 1kHz pooling rate and ha
