The D-pad on the Switch 2 Pro controller is still not great

I'm getting up and down inputs when pressing left or right on my S2 Pro controller just like the S1 Pro. Can't play Tetris 99 with it. Sigh. It's the reason I got an 8BitDo Pro 2 controller but sadly doesn't work on the Switch 2 yet, needing a future firmware update.

8Bitdo Ultimate Controller Rubber Grip

8Bitdo's official website sells replacement thumbsticks but they can be pretty pricey depending on shipping and country. I'm new to the Ultimate 2C controller so I'm unsure if it'll work but if it's the same as fixing the Pro 2 controller, replacement Dualsense thumbsticks may also be possible and w

Just curious what controllers everyone uses

I ordered the 8bitdo Pro 2 and returned it. My issue was mainly the triggers, they have extremely light actuation and jut out from the back at a wide angle. It felt like I needed to "hold" my fingers in while pressing down or they would slide off. The travel on the bumpers is also shorter than the X

Pro 3 vs Pro 2 vs Ultimate 2; anyone own all 3?

The Pro 3 has the same clicky dpad has the Ultimate C. The Pro 3 dpad is a downgrade from the great Pro 2 dpad. You have to be very deliberate to do shoryukens on the Pro 3 and accuracy is much worse than Pro 2. Pro 3 dpad is too stiff, too clicky, false diagonals, lack of pivot, and fatiguing. It's

Sad days bois I am devastated…

8bitdo does ? Did they make that change recently ? Because that's pretty neat. Still rocking a Pro 2 (the one still with the SNES design but with grips) and it sadly was still standard Bluetooth (which on one end makes it most compatible, but the moment you have 2 controllers fighting over BT the la

Controller issues

I have an 8Bitdo Pro 2 and was having the same issues, the controller UI is just very clunky and buggy in this game, I'd advice switching to MKB which feels like 10 times better.

Pro 3 vs Pro 2 vs Ultimate 2; anyone own all 3?

I remember an old Pro 2 of mine had the thumbstick cap break in half for doing just that (clicking L3 while steering) - it doesn't help the situation that they don't use the most common size so it's not an easy replacement with any thumbstick found online, it sort of has to be an 8bitdo one... Edit:
