Will wireless controllers like this work for emulators?

Yes, they work. I recommend you get one with hall effect/ tmr sticks to have a friend for life (and actually be worth the money) Name brands like gamesir and 8bitdo are the best but some Chinese off brands are surprisingly really really good if you know where to look and have the patience

Finally decide to get a fight stick

I have one, and as others said, it is a great controller to start. It is very easy to mod, tho there is really no need in regards to buttons. They are good, only a bit loud. What you will probably notice down the road is that the stick could be a bit tighter, so I really recommend that you change la

Pro Controller Cope

Jerome here, I'm the one who started the debate with Lucky on Twitter. While I'm not super informed about the LodgeNet controller I do know the V2 stick is another POT based stick. Every single one of these style sticks, regardless what tech they use, do not have the same stick throw and pivot point

controller rec for mister

Easiest recommendation would be the 8bitdo arcade stick. Great battery life, wireless, low lag, and quite decent stock buttons and stick.

Going to commit myself to an asylum at the rates things are going.

Get an 8bitdo arcade stick with the GameCube adapter, works flawlessly and is easily moddable if you don’t like the buttons/stick

Arcade Stick for NEO•GEO and Arcade Games

8bitdo's arcade stick is considered pretty good. I have the original that was just a rebranded Mayflash arcade stick, and even it's pretty damn good, and the v2 is supposedly quite a bit better.

Is Hori Mini for PS4/PC really that bad?

The Hori Mini is a functional controller. It just doesnt do well in regards to replicating some aspects of the feel of arcade hardware. It does have a functioning lever, and the buttons are more sizeable than what is on a gamepad. But the base is incredibly light to the point that you will likely ei
