64 Bluetooth Controller

I think it’s crazy Analogue hasn’t made this compatible with the official NSO N64 controller. I was really looking forward to chilling on the couch playing my 3D with the trident controller. I wonder if they have a deal with 8bit to wait a few months before updating the Bluetooth functionality after

I’ve been saying all along that they would probably do this because A) they had replacement buttons for their Ultimate controllers and B) there was clear, demonstrated, demand for this more than any other controller. Of course, it didn’t make any sense to release them until the sales of the gray 8Bi

The 8Bitdo 64 controller took the top spot for me. Recognized as an N64 controller on the Switch, and is the perfect blend of the OG and a modern form factor. Since it's Bluetooth, it also works on PC.

Personally, I love it. The screen filters make it look like how I remember it looking as a child when playing in a CRT, and (in my opinion) look better than the internal upscale that you get with emulators (especially for 2D elements like UI which look bad at high resolutions). I still need to force HDMI2.0 for the Analogue 3D input on my Insignia else the Analogue 3D will say the display doesn’t support 4K60 (it does). Was hoping the line about improving 4K compatibility with certain sets would fix that issue. Oh well. Does this update fix the problem with there being no

+1 for the 8BitDo 64. Completed Goldeneye 00 Agent with it. Couldn't stand having a second stick in the way complicating things. You have to get used ZR being your emulator option menu but I'm obsessed with it now. I'll play every 64 NSO game now with it.

It's a funny meme but also inaccurate. The whole point is that games would use 2 of the three prongs depending on what controls they used (this was right in the middle of analog and digital movement). While this new 8BitDo 64 controller is nice for the biggest N64 games, it doesn't work nearly as we
