K-Ultra, too difficult to grind
Big spectrum indeed. (I know you know all this, but I liked to add from here for OP.) I have two grinders, 1Zpresso J-Ultra and Mazzer Omega X Soft Burrs. You can’t go dead slow on a hand grinder anyways, you need muscle through it and try to keep a reasonable rpm. In my J-Ultra some dark roast are

[MOD] The Daily Question Thread
Best bang for buck is Kingrinder K6. If you can spend more, then 1zPresso X-Ultra and then K-Ultra, skip the J series.

Flair Neo plus which grinder?
You can get an mhw R3 or 1zpresso J series But hand grinding for espresso is painful, best to go electric and get a Hibrew g5 or Baratza encore esp You can use the flair to brew something called soup, that is great for light roasts

Espresso machine for Japanese market
Exactly my setup, but moved to an electric grinder now - grinding light roasts with the 1ZPresso was killing me 😅 Oh and I have the regular NanoFoamer instead of the pro. Have you tried the regular one, how did it compare for you if so?

Going down the hand grinding route and want some advice [$425 USD]
OP, you sound well informed, but wanted to put this here in case you haven’t seen it. Have you watched Lance Hendrick’s video on hand grinders? https://youtu.be/nXunNMwWIJk?si=UzlxyvmP0wTTNcyK? I daily drove a 1Zpresso J series hand grinder for espresso, but ultimately bought an electric grinder (Sp
