First time PC Build - XProto-N!

First time and am super happy with this build! But, it was actually really hard to put together because the instructions didn’t really cover some important details like how cables should be routed (sort of had to jam things in and hope for the best - “out of sight, out of mind…”) or little things li

Is this the right direction?

Unless you already have the 4080 Super or found one at a really good price I would get a 5080 instead, most 4080 Super I look at are as much money. Don't get the NH-L9a, get the Thermalright AXP90-X47 full copper, in cooler tests it runs up to 7C cooler on the 7800X3D.

After 4 years of thinking about going SFF, I finally did it... Twice !

Have been using a regular ATX PC that I built in 2020 (3700X / 32GB 3200MHz / RTX 2070S) in a Fractal Meshify C, I have been looking around for SFF cases and other components since about 2021/2022, but there wasn't really a big push for me to upgrade. I finally came round the upgrade process this ye

If anyone has Ryzen 9700X and AXP90-X47 combo, please share your temps...

Hi all, I recently built a system with Ryzen 7 9700X and AXP90-X47 (Full copper) cooler in a FormD T1 case with Noctua fan swap and two Noctua 12x25 exhaust fans.

Additionally I'm using the Thermalright contact frame as the stock socket was bending the motherboard and when I installed the AXP coole

Can I a make my ATX smaller?

I notice that your PC system is only using a i5 12400F CPU... that is considered relatively low powered and easy to cool, even a low profile cooler like the Thermalright AXP90 X47 or X53 Full Copper will be able to handle keeping that chip cool under load. Here are some of my PC setups with an i5 12

First time sff build, seeking compatibility check between parts

After speaking with the creator of the BeamCase SW, I found that the specifications limit the height of the CPU cooler and that the CPU cooler is much too tall for the case. Using something like the Thermalright AXP90 X47 (Full Copper ver.) seems like a very popular choice.

SFF COOJ MQ5 | INTEL 265K | RTX5060TI 16GB | CUDIMM 48GB 8400 CL38

Mounting & Air Duct. I used a custom threaded mounting method. Brackets don't hold the cooler securely enough and look unappealing, so I'm still finalizing the setup. I plan to use a Noctua NA-FD1 fan duct or 3D print a custom STL alternative. Case Choice: MQ5 vs. MQ6. You won't gain much by opting
