Despite others I still reach for a Z30.

The 16-50 collapsible lens is one of the best lenses of any mirrorless system imo. It’s basically an APS-C version of the Panasonic 12-32. Being collapsible, it’s ultra-portable like a prime lens but with a versatile 24-75mm equivalent range. It’s decently sharp too! I love my Z30 despite owning a z

Aparat foto DSRL

Fujifilm X-T20 on Ebay…(Scam or Deal?)

It's a decade old camera, What diffrence would it make if it's 'grey market'? There is no Fuji warranty that long. Please dont flame me IMO, if you NEED a fuji, I would up the budget a bit, $600 total on a decade old camera dose not make sence TO ME, when the brand new direct equivlent that came out

The Z30 is slept on for photography only

I actually sold an x-pro3 for a z30 and I’m pretty happy. Wildly cheaper. Much smaller and lighter. Much (!) better continuous AF (kids), better Nikon colors, more usable screen. Only use it with the 24/1.7. That lens makes the whole thing work.

Got a Nikon D2X from a friend. What am I working with? (Newbie)

Never used the D2X, but have a lot of experience with the D200, which isn’t far off. ISO’s above 800 are going to look pretty gnarly for 2026 ISO 100 is very nice with it. AF should be very good (considering its era) The rear LCD can’t be trusted, go off the histograms Set the jpeg profile to as fla

Z30 to Z50ii big enough upgrade?

it has the same exact sensor. It doesn't have the same sensor. Although Nikon introduced a 20.9MP sensor in 2017 with the D500, it's undergone two major upgrades since then: the first to the Z30/Z50/Zfc's sensor to add phase detect autofocus and improve readout speed, and again for the Z50II to give

Help. Z50 II

I owned the Sigma 150-600C and used it on the Z8, Zf and Z50ii. Optically it's very good, basically so close as to be negligible in difference to the new 180-600, the mids and corners are a little softer, nothing crazy. The 180-600 improves with all the other stuff, motor, VR is much more, internal

Which Nikon Z cameras have an AA filter? Looking at the Z30 for manual lenses

Lack of AA filter won't help. The optical stack on Z cameras has to have constant optical thickeness otherwise native lens performance would be reduced on some bodies. So the same optical aberrations that a camera with AA filter has will also be present in a camera without an AA filter. The only dif

The Z30 is slept on for photography only

Too funny. I sold my X-T10 to get the Z30. The colors are so good. I had the Nikon Z50 when it first came out and for some reason, the colors on it just didn't feel like Nikon color science. I ended up selling that when I got my birding kit together and came back around to the Z30 for an EDC.

Camera for low light/indoors?

Nikon was selling a refurbished Z30 with a kit lens for $399. This camera is tiny but will outperform any DX-size DSLR Nikon ever made. If you want, you can use your old F-mount lens if you buy the ZTZ for $100 (used). Shooting with only an LCD screen will horrify all the grumpy old men on the forum
