This year has been crazy for me so it’s nice that I get to end it by building my dream pc. I’m definitely a nerd and over the moon about the results. RGB rainbow guts and all. It took me three days to build including troubleshooting

This board choice is partially due to the aesthetics as the non-x3d board has less white coverage and smaller heat sinks. As for cpu cooler, I'm already planning a corsair titan 360 RX LCD aio which shouldn't have any issue cooling a 9800x3d. I appreciate your insight though
