I used to wear waterproof mascara, until a salesgirl steered me to YSL Lash Clash mascara after finding out the waterproof Dior I wanted was out of stock- it is super long-wearing. I take it off with Sisley's triple oil balm makeup remover (you could also probably use coconut oil).

I feel you. I have the same issue (except some tubing mascaras work really well for me). Buuut I don’t put mascara on my lower lashes and limit any eyeliner or eyeshadow on my lower lash line as well. My holy grail non tubing mascara is YSL Lash Clash. It will not budge. The YSL Lash Clash mascara will give you amazing lashes! I like it in brown. It doesn’t budge, but it does take a little extra effort to take it off. Totally worth it imo.
