Best soundbar without subwoofer

Yamaha SR-B30A. Just got one for $299 CAD ($215 USD) on sale. Dolby atmos, built in adjustable subs, 4 sound modes and clear voice/bass extension settings. Love it already. Great bang for your buck

Soundbar 2.1/3.1 + subwoofer

Guarda in casa Yamaha (SR-B40A o SR-B30A) - piuttosto vai sull'usato o cerca qualche offerta. Lascia perdere Cinesi (Hisense) e Coreane (Samsung / LG).

Wired sub output jack?

Unless you want to go bookshelf speaker route, another Yamaha is probably the best budget option. The SR-B30A and SR-B20A both have RCA sub out. A step up would be the Senheiser Ambeo Plus, but I heard this model could have overheating issue. Premium option would be the KEF XIO.

Under 500 for overwhelmed dad

If you’re not planning on adding rears anytime, then I’ll suggest the Yamaha SR-B30A It’s a bit under-budget but it’s got inbuilt dual (sub)woofers Dolby Atmos soundstage is pretty remarkable for a standalone budget soundbar

Sound Bar recommendation

Of those options, the Samsung S60D, Amazon Fire Plus, Denon DHT-210, and Yamaha SR-B30A all have Dolby Atmos. However, putting it in a media cabinet severely limits the immersion that even a standalone bar can give you.

Sound Bar recommendation

The Klipsch 200 or Samsung HW-S60D are your best options in your price range. The Klipsch will run you about $350 (on sale) and the Samsung $280. Klipsch is a 3.1.2 system, Samsung is a 5.0 system. If you need one a little less expensive, I'd go with 1. Sonos Ray 2. Samsung HW-S50B 3. Bose TV Speake

Why aren't people talking about the Yamaha SR-B30A/SR-B40A soundbars more? They both seem to be great value soundbars.

Great review! I have the older Yamaha YAS108 from years ago and that had massive HDMI CEC issues until firmware updates eventually fixed it. But been pretty faultless since. Wondering if this B30A would be an upgrade but doesn't seem like it. Apart from Dolby Atmos which don't use much anyways. But

Soundbars seem to have no "audible' bass but "physical" bass that rumbles the tv stand/room. Please advise

I would just go with the Yamaha SR-B30A or 40a since it comes with sub and isn’t much more; for when you do want some bass. I’ve owned a few Yamaha soundbars and they have all had nice clean sound and are all still working.
