Dependendo do

Anyone practice with studio monitors?
I have a pair of Yamaha HS7 studio monitors, and they're great. Studio monitors, much like 2 or 3 way PA speakers are full range speakers so you can pretty much play any instrument in your toolbox through them. I have a Musicman Stingray 4 string, and it sounds especially great through my studio mon

Studio monitor recommendations for beginner studio
I get what you’re saying about wired for pro use and Bluetooth for casual listening but I’d be surprised if any studio monitors have Bluetooth capability because the streaming’s compression is the opposite of the goal of studio monitors. If you want Bluetooth then you’ll probably end up with a list

Amp to buy !
Yamaha HS7 and HS8 active monitors use them - and they are one of the best cheapest HIFI speakers you can buy - I think Yamaha knows a thing or two about HIFI - so yes lm3886 amp is a great idea. As for that 60V mosfet by BJ - Im doubtful you can build it and not burn 10 mosfets in the process .

Studio Summary from a hobbiest
Hi, the Yamahas are very nice, but I would agree that the HS5's lack some bass. I bought that model mostly because of a) budget and b) small size of the room. On the most part I am happy with them. Someone else responded to provide some thoughts on using bigger ones and I have subsequently done some

Upgrading from Yamaha HS7?
I upgraded from HS7 to the old Focal Alpha 65 (not the EVO) a couple years ago and I could not have been happier that I did. I can’t speak to the sound of the EVO but the OG Alpha 65 performs better in almost every way. Better highs, better lows, clearer midrange, more accurate transients. The only

Trenutni clean setup

New set up
I have an electric buzz tonal noise on my HS7 too. Yamaha DGX-520 electronic piano had quite a similar tonal noise on its built-in speakers, so there is probably an inherent engineering issue regarding speakers at Yamaha. I was able to minimize the noise on HS7 by decreasing amplification/volume wit

Give up on trying to make mix sound good on phone speaker?
Welcome to the world and need for studio reference monitors. Yes, they're expensive as speakers go, but they provide the flat response that allows you to mix and master appropriately by ear and have it be at least representative on most other playback devices. The LAST thing you want to do is EQ to
