Good speakers to get?

Legit just got the same board nice starter I recently went to a music store to find some quality speakers myself and currently saving up for some Yamaha HS7 the sound quality was outstanding you could feel the bass without even a subwoofer it's a bit pricier than the HS5 vut the difference is very n

Anyone practice with studio monitors?

I have a pair of Yamaha HS7 studio monitors, and they're great. Studio monitors, much like 2 or 3 way PA speakers are full range speakers so you can pretty much play any instrument in your toolbox through them. I have a Musicman Stingray 4 string, and it sounds especially great through my studio mon

Absolutely love my WFH corner!

That's a very subjective choice, I'm happy with my Yamaha HS7 (plus a Behringer EX4000 II for some additional punch).

Studio Summary from a hobbiest

Hi, the Yamahas are very nice, but I would agree that the HS5's lack some bass. I bought that model mostly because of a) budget and b) small size of the room. On the most part I am happy with them. Someone else responded to provide some thoughts on using bigger ones and I have subsequently done some

Standing desk: my first one ever

They are G Three (or G3) in RAW finish (aluminium). I previously had Yamaha HS7 and these Genelecs are so clear and bass is fast and snappy, love them!

Studio Speakers

Yamaha HS-series are pretty amazing to be honest. Got HS8 at first, but downgraded to HS7 because my studio was way too small for the bass of 8.

Monitor Help..

If there’s a Guitar Center near by, most of them have a monitor display wall where you can plug your phone in and check out how the speakers sound on music you’re familiar with. If that’s not an option; get a par of Yamaha HS8’s and call it a day until you move into a bigger/more professional room.

How do reamp boxes really work?

if you wanna get super fancy/crazy... I have these and love them very much.Yamaha hs7 I also have the sub too because these by themselves do not have the best bass output but have excellent mid and high range. Another popular mid range monitor choice is the Adam 7 and another choice people are happy

YAMAHA HS5 vs KRK ROKIT RP5 G5

I own a pair of HS7's & KRK Classics 8's Scott Storch Edition & All I can say to you is I love my HS7's more than my Rokits, They just sound better. I only use my rokits as a Bass speaker when Im doing my drums but I will 100% recommend the HS5's as the entire Yamaha line has far more clarity and le

Looking for entry level studio monitors to replace TV speakers

Take a look at the Yamahas. They have quite a big woofer and will definitely deliver a good punch. I'm not looking for door shattering or window popping bass, so both the HS7 and HS8 are a great bet
