sorry this happened. I had something similar happen to me for my last to xteink devices. The x4 came broken, and the x3 broke out of the blue. And you are right the quality of these devices are really bad, and a lot of people here will just mock you if you pointed that out.

The magnets are too weak, for one thing, but more than that, if the goal is really "distraction free reading" having it on the back of your phone is going to make it way too easy to flip

Whole bunch of people who ordered x3 got x4 and other segment got broken devices. Xteink is infamous to not process refunds or even offer appropriate process for appeal. Please just let us order from aliexpress as we can get refund easily

I keep both my x3 and x4 in my totebag. I make sure not to throw my bag or swing it around a lot tho. And my xteink gets it's own little pocket, away from heavy/sharp objects and it's working fine. So I guess u just have to rlly baby the xteink. I've heard it doesnt take much to crack/damage.
