What premium gift would you get for a Steam Deck lover who’s already well-equipped?

I have the Deckmate stuff by Mechanism, and I really like it - it’s basically a little bracket that attaches to the back that you can then attach accessories to, like a kickstand or gaming pillow. The gaming pillow is pretty neat - it was kind of a luxury purchase, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised

After Ditching Meta Headset Plans, Asus Partners with XREAL on ROG AR Glasses with 240Hz Display

Anytime AR glasses get brought up in this sub, people think of them with that bias of VR and do the echo chamber criticisms again. It's not gonna supplant VR as it's a different use case. For comparing with a TV, I have Xreal One Pros and the microOLEDs I would rather use to play flat gaming and wat

AR glasses, what’s been your experience?

Had the xreal air 2 and just upgraded to the xreal one pro to try out the new 2d- 3d conversion they put out. My experiences so far. Xreal air 2 was fine just a virtual screen that sat directly in front of your face. Glasses were not shaded enough though so lots of light bleed through unless you cli

Is the Vision Pro significantly better than the xreal 1S for Mac virtual display?

Ummm 3500$ device has a better resolution than 500$ xreal one 700$ xreal one pro device One is pretty much designed for Apple product line the other is generic for mass consumers. One is just a simple but gorgeous 1080p per eye device with ultrawide "emulator" The other is 4k with 23million pixels N

I think this is the best handheld ever made!

Eff the screen. XREAL one Pro's make this thing amazing. Just got back from a cruise and it make my 4070 laptop nearly obsolete. Outside od Borderlands 4, this handheld was the device of choice. Especially out there on the balcony enjoying the night air playing FF tactics.

For work, how does Xreal glasses compare to Quest 3 with Virtual Desktop?

I work a lot with the xreal one pro for coding and research, so I read a lot of text. I find the XOP very fitting for it. I use the ultrawide mode and can go at it for hours. The Quest 3 is obviously better display quality, but it's not something I want to put around the office (the XOP are a hit at

First time working seriously with them

I bought the Xreal Air years ago for coding away from home but they were awful for that and I ended up just using them for movies on flights. The One Pro is exactly what I was hoping the Air would be and now I use them at home maybe 50% of the time so I can sit out on the patio, lay on the floor, et

For work, how does Xreal glasses compare to Quest 3 with Virtual Desktop?

Have used both for development so can speak to this. Quest 3, used with Immersed: + Much wider FOV+ More immersive+ Gestures are cool for moving the screens about+ Multi-monitor is easier- Direct USB tethering is a hack, wifi latency isn't great at times- Heavy and sweaty af after a while (the silic

My travel / desk setup

Just get Xreal One Pro or 1S. An OLED 120hz screen that fits in a glasses case and works flawlessly. The only disadvantage is that they are $400-600

For work, how does Xreal glasses compare to Quest 3 with Virtual Desktop?

Ok, I too am a Quest3 virtual desktop user as well as Xreal One Pro owner (without Eye) I'm a programmer and I have worked for a whole day in both the Quest 3 (when I can get the thing to keep charge properly) and the glasses. I think most of the pros and cons has been covered. I'm farsighted and us
