I have a pentab and display tab. I am also a multimedia artist in animation and do digital illustration on the side. I started with a laptop and pentab before upgrading to a display tab. I think I'm qualified to comment on this. Based on your list, I see no actual good reason to deinfluence you. Ala

I recently moved from a XpPen tablet to a higher end Huion tablet and I prefer the Huion. That said I do have a friend that works as a full time artist with an xppen tablet, and it works great for her. Wacoms have been the gold standard but their price is vastly inflated from what they’re worth and

That high refresh rate causes the screen to get very warm - not hot - but you may not enjoy it. I think a really good alternative is the XP-Pen Artist Pro 22 GEN2. Same resolution at the 24 GEN2 165Hz, less expensive, same drawing experience. my notes https://docs.thesevenpens.com/drawtab/drawing-ta

Imo procreate can be just as good as csp or photoshop especially since it's something a lot of professionals in the industry use. If portability isn't something you care about then XPPen can be worth it. You'll have to play around in the settings a bit because most of the boxes for the tools take up

I use an xppen magic notepad. I like to take handwritten notes in one note and there is no lag and it's reasonably priced. I had an older Boox and it lagged. Maybe they have fixed that now. There are 3 screen color presets. B&W, regular and a slightly muted color version. I'm happy with it but basic

XPPen and Huion are mid range (though they have been releasing more semi-professional and professional products) they also tend to be rated in the 98% Rec.709 colour coverage and 90% for Adobe rbg coverage for the non pro lines(exactly like wacoms non pro products) and the pro lines hit 99% on both

Interesting point... hadn't really considered the aspect ratio. Any LCD/AMOLED tablet I get would be Samsung, though, as I want EMR stylus input... otherwise I'd grab a Lenovo IdeaTab matte version for $230. Other contender would be an XPPen Magic Notepad which has a matte screen, uses EMR, but I su

I've a 40 min video review from the artist perspective. https://youtu.be/yXoHq2offvU Or check the list of pros and cons from my text review at https://www.parkablogs.com/content/artist-review-xppen-magic-note-pad It's not a particularly powerful tablet but it can be used for drawing. ohh no u/RareAsp blocked me 😭😭/sHonestly with all the respect of the world what a stoopid attitude you have there; I was telling you so you don't get a used (god knows how it was used) product but if you like gifting money then do it, nobody is stopping you, and why would i want to have a stylus tha

I have the wacom pro pen 2, and the XPpen gen2 comes with the same pen design, + they doubled pen pressure, so it has a great precision. (I have the 8k wacom version and xppen has 16k, it's more than enough - there is also a good pressure settings coming with the driver) Wacom's pro pen 3 is not so
