if you really plan on using the tab for 5+ years at least, iPad is the best option. what I would recommend is getting a xiaomi pad or something in that price range (a tab that supports a pen and is decently fast) and replace it in 3-4 years especially if you have an android phone

No, xiaomi pad 8 may have a little better battery and a lot better performance which you don't need, so there's no point in upgrading

Great reply, Brand doesn’t matter much then. The main thing is whether the tab can handle notes, PDFs, lectures and storage properly. If Xiaomi Pad does that, it’s a better budget option.
