Some wearables have more sensitive sensors than others. Whoop for example has a bad sensor and it's really inaccurate as well. My old Garmin Venu SQ was the same. Mi Band 10 is a horrible with steps, distance and calories. As someone who runs 4 days a week and hikes once a week, I can tell you that the Mi Band 10 is not usable for these tasks.

Mi band 10 is showing low levels of stress constantly, while mi band 5 showed a more accurate range of highs and lows. Sounds similar to what you experienced Also there's the change of app, from zepp life to Mi fitness, which I don't know if could have anything to do with it.
