Canceling wyze, I'm done
I have never had an micro SD card failure on my Wyze V2, V3, and V4 cameras. I've used 32GB Samsung Endurance cards before switching to the larger 128GB Sandisk Endurance. The only time I thought I had an issue with recording was the micro-USB cable going bad. It didn't supply enough power for recor

Any new 4k wise cams due out in next 2-3 months? Also is outdoor power adapter necessary?
Wyze Cam Pan v4 is out with 4K already. I guess a regular V5 using that sensor could come out, the previous 2.5k V4 was released March 2024. This would be in comparison to v2, v3, v3 pro, v4, pan cam 2&3. I also have a smart plug (not wyze brand but thru Hubitat) on most of them so I c

wyze fails again.
If you are trusting Wyze cams in any situation where you are going to be crying in all caps on Reddit when they fail to record something critical, you are either naive or stupid. Get yourself a couple of decent IP cams with RTSP, streaming wired to your own real, reliable data storage, not using SD

Forced firmware update bricked my camera. I'm out of the country and can't see my house.
I've got a Pan 1 and a Pan 2 still in service. In fact, I picked up six Pan 3's when TikTok was clearing them out at $24 recently because I figure my entire camera fleet is aging, and the early Cam v2 and the Pan v1 might EoL soon. Oddly, my Pan v2 (not v1) is the occasionally cranky one. By cranky,
