I’m back and forth with jumping into the Scanwatch. Haven’t pulled the trigger yet, and the shady business practices is really the one thing turning me off here. But the one question I’m hoping to get answered before I make my decision; does the Nova (or other scan watches) support HRV on the watch

Very well explained! I can understand that and have already tried out various watches. I started with the ScanWatch from Withings and at some point had the Nova Brilliant for looks and ended up wearing my Apple Watch more and more often, especially for sports or even just longer bike rides or hikes,

If I end up liking the Garmin ecosystem, I might convert that too. If I hate the plasticy feel of the Garmin, I might consider coming back. Primary Gripe

Yeh the reason i have the steel hr was withings look of normal watch so its why i lean scan watch but all the reports on the accuracy are putting me off

That’s good feedback. In answer to your question, I am more than fine to have no watch and even finer to have no display. I’m an analog guy. I have a Scanwatch that I bought in Nov 2022. In the last few months the battery has degraded significantly. I was having to charge it every 4 or 5 days. I contacted Withings about a way ahead with this. They got me to do a factory reset and then once I had set the watch up again I was sent a code.
