Portable espresso for the office, six months in :)

Picopresso was on my list too. Ended up going nano because for $20 more you get self-heating and one-button automatic, no hot water needed, no manual pumping. For an office setup that mattered to me. Bought mine directly from outin.com, they ship to India, took about 10 days.

Do I need a dedicated milk pitcher if I don't care about latte art? [under $50]

Milk pitchers are probably the cheapest and easiest to use vs. alternatives. I recently got a picopresso for travel so I tried a few different containers and thermometers with a Nanofoamer, assuming that I might have to microwave the milk sometimes so I couldn't use a metal container. No matter what

OutIn Mino Review After 6 Countries – Finally a Travel Espresso Machine That Makes Sense!

Thanks for the review. I've been considering the Nano with the basket plus upgrade but now I think I'm gonna wait until Mino has a basket plus upgrade. And I hope that it would be a proper 18g basket. The standard 12g won't do it for me and the biggest factor that prevented me from buying Nano was t

Picopresso or minipresso??

They are different machines. The minipresso is easy, more forgiving. The picopresso is a true espresso machine, so it's more hard to learn, it needs a really good grinder, for espresso, and good puck prep. So it depends on what you want. I have both, I preffer the minipresso, the result is more like

Picopresso without a scale or accessories — how do you make it work?

You are a bit wasting your time to try with preground coffee, at this early stage of learning about your Picopresso. I would recommend to wait for at least your grinder to arrive and be able to adjust the grind size according to how your shots are pulled. That’s the bare minimum. But without a scale

Picopresso Vs Robot Cafelat?

My opinion on this reflects yours too. Robot is so much easier and consistent for me. I'm sure picopresso has a steeper learning curve in my experience, but I hardly have a bad shot with the robot.

Portable espresso

Personal experience ko sa Wacaco products, I don’t like how unergonomic they are. I have tendonitis, and if I want to extract coffee in a comfortable way with Wacaco then I’d have to spend extra just for a stand. Pumping their button with my thumbs gives me pain, I ended up giving away my Wacaco Pic

Need a travel-friendly coffee brewer for my boyfriend who loves his moka pot

Between those two, Aeropress for sure. The way the Picopresso makes you repeatedly squeeze the pump sounds like a pain in the ass. Aeropress is dead-easy to use, and the cleanup is as easy as hand-drip pourover.

Is agro espresso maker is worth for 3k?

Get the mokapot.. you get much more use out of it. I have the picopresso, which I think works the same way as this agaro, it works with pump action, can get a bit tedious. Although if you want to learn the nitty gritties of espresso you might get it.

Looking to buy a portable device to use at the office. [300€]

My personal experience is that with a Picopresso, I could never find the courage to make espresso regularly, let alone milk drinks. The heatup, grinding, dialing in, cleanup, is just too much faff for a work day. So I can't in good faith recommend it. I've been a lot happier since I switched to a Ca
