No worries, I believe you. I've constantly had issues with music drowning out dialogue, so ive got my soundbars tune for loud dialogue and musics always pretty faint, likely why I didn't hear it. Is my TV too low?
I bought a Vizio V51-H6 36" V-Series 5.1 Home Theater Sound Bar, has a sub and a couple smaller speakers for surround. I bought it with the purpose of trying to integrate it into another sound system and it is just completely incompatible, or at least I'm incapable of finding a way to make it work.

Soundbar recommendations
I was really impressed by my Vizio V51-H6 soundbar, with seperate woofer and satellite speakers, until the soundbar quit after 16 months. I'll buy another brand.
