For what you've described, the rMPP would work okay, but like you say battery isn't great - I think I only got around six hours before it needed a recharge. I liked the Viwoods AI Paper Mini for more portable note-taking, and the Supernote Nomad is also decent, however these are around 8", so not re

I also tried both the Palma 2 and the Viwoods Reader. I ended up returning the Palma 2 and sticking with the Viwoods. I liked the screen better and the overall thinness/size of the device better than the Palma. Biggest downside is no warm light, but I have other ereaders so it wasn’t a dealbreaker f

Women pockets tend to be smaller. I personally wouldn't put my kindle paperwhite in my backpocket. Even the kindle basic and the kobo clara bw are a bit too big to put in pockets, again as a women. If op is looking for ereaders at the 6 inch range, I would also add the boox go 6 in here and the boox

I’ve been using a Viwoods AiPaper Reader for a bit more than a month now, and I’ve been very happy with it. Slimmer than the Palma 2, and also runs Android 16. You might want to check it out.

I presently own a reMarkable 2, Boox Note2, & an AiPaper. The reMarkable 2 has long been a staple in the E-Ink market, but it is currently hampered by aging hardware and a restrictive subscription model that gates basic cloud syncing features. With only 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, it str

Yes, I understand you. I had Viwoods AI paper mini, liked the size and the screen quality. Then I got a chance to buy used reMarkable 2 for a good price and was impressed of how simple and clear the user interface and file organization was. Decided to get RPPM and feel very happy with it! I had some

It sounds like you’re probably open to anything. You just need something with a good built in reader. How about the following choices, as I don’t know if you carry a purse, or bag, or if it’s something you just put in your pocket: Xtenik X4 is literally small. Boox Palma 2, Vivwoods AiPaper Reader a

Was in a similar position. A Boox Go 8 would've been the perfect device for me. Ended up with a Viwoods AiPaper Mini to complement my Go 10.3. Really happy with it so far. My wife has a Boox Page and I tried the Go 7 Gen 2 B/W, but that size wasn't really cutting it for me. AiPaper Mini is only Cart

ViWoods AI Paper Reader is stupidly thin and light. I’m not sure I’d want to use any eink device without a case, though. Especially backpacking. But I only have the little plastic case that comes with it on mine and it’s been fine. Even after being dropped a couple times.

I like the form factor. My Supernote Nomad often feels a bit large for what I'm using it for, and the reporter's notebook aspect ratio makes a lot of sense for a device like this. I think it's smart to have the device be so small that people won't be torn between this and the larger one – the use ca
