This is positive to hear. I returned my Viwoods AI Paper Mini because it just wasn't good for my left handed hook writing style. I'd love to get one of these to try and maybe even review. I'm waiting on this hoping that the Carta 1300 will also provide that closer pen to screen feel.

AiPaper Mini display vs. 10.3" AiPaper and Reader?
For me the Mini has too much texture applied to the screen, for that scratchier feel when writing. It affects the sharpness, so I couldn't get used to it. Reading was tiresome, especially with frontlight on, which was diffused by the texture making text even more unsharp. I'm reading with a normal 1
