i have never heard of a company having a BYOD policy for laptops in FP&A. i have dual acer 27" KB272 monitors which provides me with a ton of real estate. i have a combo logitech wireless mouse/keyboard MK345 that does the job. chair and/or standing desk is more important to me than the comomdity pe

50 cm just isn’t very deep at all. I have a big rectangle standing desk, try looking into VIVO adjustable desks if interested in cost-savings standing desk. An L desk is nice, but this large rectangle has replaced my L desk and I don’t miss it at all.

A standing desk. Even if I'm not standing it's nice to adjust the height exactly where I want it. I have two, the first is a hydrologic tabletop model, that sits on top of a desk, with no battery or motor from Vivo, that my company paid for. It's good it was just a little too small. The larger size

A standing desk is a standing desk. They're not that different. I just got a $200 Vivo one from Amazon. It goes up. It goes down. It's fine.

Great question - I just spent weeks researching standing desks for this exact reason. After comparing 7 different models, stability at full height varies a lot by brand and price point. The VIVO Electric 60x30 and ErGear models both get consistently high marks for minimal wobble even when fully exte

Ngl the sub-$300 standing desk market is rough but doable. VIVO - FEZIBO for stability, the extra storage on FEZIBO isn't worth the wobble. If you can stretch to $380, FlexiSpot E7 on sale is a completely different league. For a laptop + monitor arm setup, wobble is gonna bother you more than you th

Based on your room, I’d say white desk legs would look nice. Black would look fine too since your lighting casts shadows under the desk, but white blends in well with your decor. At sitting height, stability between 2 legs vs 4 legs will be negligible. But at standing height, 4 legs will wobble less

I got the Vivo standing desk frame recently. It can support up to 100kg and max height is 120cm. I've temporarily used my old ikea tabletop which is 100x60 but so far its firm and not wobbly at all. Will be aiming to change to a solid wood tabletop soon. 120cm is probably 3/4cm too short for us as I

I feel this post in my bones - literally. After 10 years of WFH and two elbow surgeries from ignoring ergonomics early on, I finally got serious about my setup. On stability at full height: This varies wildly by desk. The dual-motor systems stay way more stable than single-motor ones, especially at
