Dash cam that reliably handles Arizona heat.
I’ve had my VIOFO a129 pro on my truck that’s parked outside 24/7 for almost 3 years, no issues with that one. I’ve never had either the a129 or a229 have issues with the heat.

To the white van on Ox Road who didn’t clean the ice off the top: I hate you. I hate you with everything in me.
I've had a Viofo A129 (I think) front and back for almost 4 years going now. It's been through brutal West coast summers and icy Midwest winters. Still going strong.

Hit and run ice damage
Just get a good VIOFO. A129 pro duo is what I have in 3 cars. They have newer ones too.

What dashcams are you using?
VIOFO A129 Plus Duo with hardwire kit. My first one died after three years in the Arizona heat, but I liked it enough that I replaced it with the same model.

scam
I've been using viofo a129 duo with 256gb memory card for about 7 to 8 years now. Although there are newer models that does 4k now, but I didn't have any reason to change it.

Any Dash Cam recommendations? Almost got scammed on the road.
I went with a Viofo a129, Reddit suggested it to me when I asked a few years ago. The video quality is pretty great and it handles the southern summer heat and the winter chills pretty well.

Dashcam suggestions
Viofo gang Running an A129 plus duo, hasn't failed me yet since buying it in like 2020. Every dashcam is gonna have a hard time reading plates in low light / no light. Tech isn't there yet. Leave your sound recording on and read plates out loud.

Alright, you’ve convinced me…which dashcam setups make sense for this area?
I put a Viofo A119 in my car, and Viofo A129 dual channel (front and rear recording) dash cams in some family members' cars. In all but one case, they're powered from the rear view mirror using a Dongar power adapter. So far, everything I've installed has been running fine for the last few years and

Can you please recommend a good Dashcam (Front and Rear) and also memory card
I personally use the viofo A129 plus with front and rear camera. Mine is an old model I've had several years now and it still does the business. They get strong reviews, decent camera quality and capacitor rather than battery which is far more robust.
