I've had a Viofo A129 (I think) front and back for almost 4 years going now. It's been through brutal West coast summers and icy Midwest winters. Still going strong.

VIOFO A129 Plus Duo with hardwire kit. My first one died after three years in the Arizona heat, but I liked it enough that I replaced it with the same model.

I went with a Viofo a129, Reddit suggested it to me when I asked a few years ago. The video quality is pretty great and it handles the southern summer heat and the winter chills pretty well.

I'd go for a warrant in its current state and see if it's still roadworthy. If it is, you can just withdraw your insurance claim. If not, you'll have to suck it up. You'll never be able to recover your loss from the other party as it's you vs them. Use the savings to purchase a dashcam. I use the Vi

My VIOFO A129 plus duo has been running 4 years so far in my car in frigid Minnesota and running great, no problems. Get a VIOFO dashcam and a good high endurance card.

I run Viofo A129 Plus Duo in both my cars, front ant back cameras. The set is a little over budget but they’re good quality and last. One pair was in my old car and I transferred to my new one, they even provide you with extra sticky pads for that purpose. https://ebay.us/m/K0kn2X I’m afraid it’s eB

VIOFO A129 Not the best but great value. Plus if I remember correctly has a capacitor instead of LiPo battery so handles heat better/doesn't go bad as quick. Had one for years.

I got myself a VIOFO A129 Plus Duo, and so far, I love it. Bought it back in November, and its held up well. Has good quality and having a front and back camera has been a relief because in Florida you never know what people are gonna do and overall easy to set up

Mine freezes on my Viofo A129 Plus once in a while. I suspect its the Micro SD card as well. 3 years running and still great.
