White SUV parked hitting my car and blocking my driver’s side door in a parking ramp
The viofo a119 is pretty much the gold standard for most people. It has the best ratio of price to performance with enough reputation that it'll do the job. I think they're on version 3 now. Alternatively, you can get into a hyperfixated research spiral and get the 300+ dollar Street Guardian ones w

The Dashcam trap..
Viofo A119 V3 is still solid for around that price range, just avoid the knockoffs on Amazon that use the same product photos but ship garbage instead

Jeep said he was rear-ended... your daily reminder to get a dashcam
I will literally and truly never own a car without one. They more than pay for themselves when you need to defend yourself vs your rates skyrocketing over something not your fault. The VIOFO A119 is about $100 bucks and it provides very high quality video. Heck I still have my A129 Duo that I have h

Best Dashcam to Buy in 2026? (Price, Video Quality, Battery)
Viofo would be the top recommendation. It offers the best picture quality out of any of the available dash cams. As far as which Viofo model to chose from, I would go with the Viofo A119 MINI 2 with the Sony STARVIS 2 image sensor. Personally, I was debating between Viofo and Blackvue (for the cloud

New Mazda 3- looking for dash cam recommendations
Viofo. They’re on the more pricier end but, if u see some of the YouTube reviews on it, they’re some of the best. I’m in the works on investing in one. What’s holding me back is that I have to hardwire it since the 3’s have no 12V outlet. Read a ton of reviews and a shit ton of videos on it. VIOFO A

Best dashcam to get in Saskatchewan?
The viofo a119 v3 is pretty popular. I have an nextbase 522 that's also decent.

Careful on 101 ,not sure why the driver got pulled over
Many of them. Here is my Viofo A119 v3, at least I think that's the version. This camera has been left in my windshield for the last 5 years. I never remove it. https://www.reddit.com/r/IdiotsInCars/comments/1rcy1jm/oc_lets_drive_30mph_on_the_freeway/ I have a friend with a Rexing and it's fine too. Don't

What dashcams do you use?
Viofo a229 pro. Has been in my BRZ tS for 1.5 years with no issue. I’ve also used a Viofo a119 before (passed it on but still working nearly 8 years later) and have a Rexxing V1 in my daily. I’ve never had much issue with Viofo or Rexxing so far.

looking for a dashcam that has no WiFi, no wireless network antenna, no mobile apps, with a high quality camera and premium build quality.
The Viofo A119 V3 is what you want then. By no means the latest-n-greatest but still a decent dash all in all.
