I have the Vantrue N5 in my SQ6, hardwired., with parking mode. I would not use an OBD adapter. The biggest issue for me was that I could not identify a fuse that was switched when the car was on - every fuse was live all the time. Woke up to find my car was damaged in a hit and run
Vantrue. I'm using one for the parking features. I'm using the N5. Some prefer the N4 Pro. When it came in handy for me I got the registration plate from all 4 cameras and took it to the police.
