At 1:37 AM my car got its door lock pushed in. My compustar Anti-Theft alerted me on my key fob and, I came out to this.... ruined my whole night and I couldn't even find parking in my cobra sack so I had to park it in the same spot...
To also add salt to the wound, my E360 Vantrue 24hr parking dash cam wasnt even recording the fucking event.

Why driving at high speeds can be catastrophic !
Depends on how decent you want. Realistically to prove who is at fault in an accident, just get the cheapest dashcam (edit: with a lot of reviews and high stars) with the features you want on Amazon, you don't even need a rear camera (only type of accident where it helps prove fault is some types of

Looking for a reliable dashcam (under $100, 3-way ideally) — what are you using?
I use a vantrue N5 and E360, both are not under $100...they may have ones under $100.... I so feel this. No-Athlete-8856 did post about their w3 having an rtsp server. Unfortunately, so far, they have only one feed, and that was at a low 640x480 resolution. There was a HTTP server to access the files. I'm betting we can use an old phone or tablet to relay the services or perform cron jo

Introducing the Vantrue E360 Dashcam!
Lower Resolution The Vantrue E360 is worse at reading licence plates because the front camera is 1944P. Dashcam cameras these days are at least 2K (2560P) or 4K (3840P). The stated 5.2K is misleading because the resolution is spread between 2 cameras.

Dash cam worth it?
As other commenters have noted, you still have to pay your deductible if you are (1) deemed 25% at fault or more or (2) unable to identify the other driver. Dashcams are so cheap there's really no excuse not to get one, find one on Amazon with at least 4.3 stars and 1000+ reviews. They exist under $
