11 years ago today Valve released a demonstration of what would become the Steam Controller
While the finished product was different than what is in the video, it was an amazing change from what standard controllers were at the time. Back buttons. Duel stage triggers. Touch pads!? Plus the ability to modify the controller to do damn near anything you want with key combos, and action sets..

"Can't wait for Official SteamOS!" What does this statement even mean?
Steam Machines turned into Steam Deck and SteamOS. Steam Controller built the controller API Steam uses, not to mention facilitated the creation of thousands of controller profiles that Steam Deck relies on to make KB&M games work with a controller. Index is on life support sure, but it's supported

They're really nice for non-gaming tbh, but there are some types of games that work really well with the touchpads. They have fully customizable controls, and in Steam you can even customize controller layouts per game/program. I tend to stay away from any fast-paced games that require precise mouse

The best controller for Steam Deck?
... The steam controller works well tbh. Since it also has track pads, and buttons similar to the steam deck. I fact, I think its only missing two back padel buttons compared to the deck. The track pads on it allow for usage as a dpad, joystick, or mouse setup while docked even. The only issue is up

The Daulsense Is A Great Controller And Neat Piece Of Tech I Dont Know Why People Dont Like It
Then name another controller with a trackpad and gyro besides the discontinued Steam Controller that you can go and buy right now? If you want Gyro, a Trackpad and Analogue triggers in one controller, which was the main reason I got a DualSense for my PC, then there's no real other option. Sure the
