On 7/29/24, I purchased a Samsung smart ring from Best Buy for $427.99. It was my second Samsung smart ring, having bought one for my girlfriend the week before. The total for both was $855.98.

So I’ve had my ring for three days now.. and it still hasn’t tracked any of my sleeping or my naps.

Did anyone else who’s received a ring have it take a few days before sleep started tracking? Trying to figure out what’s going on.

Just a note, that more and more are promising this functionality.

While both cuffless Blood Pressure Measurement (BPM) and on-device CGM are theoretically possible for a wearable (a ring specifically), and a couple of companies are working on these technologies, they are not mature technologies

Personally:

- Temperature: Long exposure to heat (anything above 90 degrees) makes me miserable. As much as I hate winter, it doesn't seem to affect me as much

- Altitude: I recently visited Bogota, Colombia (8,800 feet altitude) and couldn't shake a horrible headache and palpitations for 5 days

Hey everyone, I’ve been using this ring for a while with no issues, but for the past two days it keeps disconnecting from Bluetooth after about 2 minutes and stops recording anything. The battery is fully charged, there’s no visible damage, and the sensor lights no longer turn on.

I have a tight budget and need smart ring suggestion with good accuracy (not best). I was considering gabit or fittr hart x2, as these 2 have most of the things I need to track. But reviews are mixed so confused on that front.

Any suggestions or guidance will be helpful.
