Happens to every turtle beach headset I’ve ever owned, only one that doesn’t do it is the stealth pro.

Audeze Maxwell or Maxwell 2 are both great options. I have the wired Nova Pro and it’s really great. I like you want the Elites but the price is steep. I would also recommend the new Turtle Beach Stealth Pro 2. I haven’t tried them yet but I do have the TB Stealth Pro and I like it a lot for gaming
