Saturday Chat Thread (30/05/26)

Nothing special today. Did the housework, currently snacking and just watching some classic episodes of Top Gear (Race to Oslo is my all time favourite-it was the episode that got me into the show despite knowing nothing about cars lol). Also got a brand new headset delivered today (Turtle Beach Ste

Nova Elite VS Maxwell 2

Between the two, i prefer the Elite, but i honestly wouldn't recommend either in your case. Maxwell is not comfortable for long hours and the Nova Elite would only be worth it if you play on multiple platforms. I would get either the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro 2 or the Steelseries Nova Pro Omni

Beyerdynamic for gaming

I drive them using a sound blaster g6. I use a shure mic separately but you can also get a modmic for any open back. Don’t listen to the guy telling you to get closed backs. No closed back will ever give you the positional accuracy of an open soundstage. My 5 other headphones are all closed backs an

How Does The Stealth Pro 2 Compare To Maxwells Out Of The Box Performance?

I tried the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro 2 after using the Maxwell Gen 1 for a long time, and I have to say the Stealth Pro 2 are lighter and more comfortable overall. However, at the software level, Turtle Beach is still refining some features in the app. In terms of sound alone, the Maxwell Gen 1 prob

Hyperx Cloud 3 or 3s?

I just bought the 3s and it's a great headset. They feel premium and sound really good. I'm not really sure how they compare to the 3 but I just wanted to let you know that the 3s is a great choice. They are super comfortable as well. I did swap out the ear cushions for something more breathable as

is there something wrong with the stealth pro’s?

I would, the Stealth pro 1s had a decent ammount of issues and are really only good for competitive FPS games. The 2s on the other hand have some of the best audio quality (specifically bass) and soundstage out of all the wireless headsets on the market. If the 2s are within your price range, very m

Ordered the Stealth Pro II

Considering its the best wireless headset on fhe market given how feature rich and good it's audio is, theres nothing to worry about. The only other headset that shares any similar bass to it is the Maxwell 2, the Stealth pro 2 pushes out bass like a MF, every one says a headset cant rumble your hea

Stealth Pro 2. Worth it or wait?

These come close to a perfect score for a wireless gaming headset. It has perfect “consumer grade” sound with a good amount of bass — great for gaming, movies and music. Signature sound is perfect out of the box — no need for eq. It’s not quite audiophile, but that’s not what I want in my wireless h

Seriously Impressed with the Stealth Pro 2

Yep, when talking about the $250 more I meant the Elite. The Astro A50’s for me I could never really find a sound that I really liked and found immersive. I tried so many different EQ’s with different pad swaps and just thought they sound good. Definitely sounded better than the Omnis. To me even af

Ordered Stealth pro 2 today.

That totally depends on your ears. You have to try yourself to see if it sounds different to you. The Maxwells are hard to beat in music, but the Stealth Pro is head and shoulders above the A50 for games. Better to me personally than the Maxwell 2. Maxwell is incredible crisp and detailed, but the T
