Headphones
I just got the turtle beach atlas air, which are "open back", meaning you can hear your room, your own voice, and gives an amazing sense of direction for audio in game. I came from the epos pc38x (also open back), which sounds amazing, but the new ones are wireless, a have a better sound profile, be

Switching from the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless to the A50 Gen 5??
I made a post here recently about A50 gen 5 that I had bought and I thought they were uncomfortable (spoiler: I ended up keeping them) So I bought 6 other headsets and tested them all. One of them was the nova pro and I had the same experience with the sound, it's kind of "hollow" and the comfort ne

Anyone using open-back headphones with spatial sound?
Turtle Beach Atlas Air. Open-back sounds better, period. It's a matter of physics. But sound works awfully in this game so with that broken, the headset doesn't matter.

How's the headband for baldies? (Stealth pro 2)
I was in the same position as you. I find the Steelseries fabric headband very comfortable. I've worn the Turtle Beach Atlas Air and also found that fabric mesh headband similarly comfortable. I used the new Stealth Pro 2 and thought it would probably be a similar cushy fabric. However, it is a diff

Friend is trying to buy a new headset
Turtle Beach Atlas Air is the only wireless gaming headset I know of that is open back. As for closed back headsets, there's the Fractal Scape, which is a great headset for sound quality. It has a wireless charging dock, 3 onboard EQ profiles and a cloud-based software so no bloatware on your PC. I

[Tech Support] - Does the perfect cross between these two headsets exist?
The only modern open-backed wireless headphones I know of are the Turtle Beach Atlas Airs. I'm not sure on the sound quality myself as the brand isn't as popular in my country but reviews on them are generally favourable as far as gaming headsets go. Gadgetry Tech over on YouTube has a pretty thorou

astro a50x vs normal gen 5 bandwidth? Longevity?
Yeah no ear issues or weird pressure with a50x I even upgraded the ear pads to the stealth ear pads for them and it’s even more comfortable. My only knock would be the default ear pads were kinda smaller and my ears were a bit more squished in. That could vary depending on your ears and all. There a

Switching from the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless to the A50 Gen 5??
I completely agree with you about the Atlas Airs! They are seriously being underrated and slept on. I got about 6 pairs of headsets during the holidays and narrowed it down to the A50 and the Atlas Air. Atlas Airs have insane sound quality, great out of box EQ, and am amazing mic. Love both of these
