Have you tried disabling some extensions? Some extension like tunnel bear would cause some connection issues. Like on tunnelbear-vpn extension would cause me unable to connect to the internet and almost lock me out. Also there been issues before on the twitch sub reddit saying because of Adblocker.

For me, as of two months ago, Express VPN & TunnelBear won’t work for HBO Max nor Hulu.
