Just download a free vpn like tunnelbear, set it to Japan and load the game up and pay in Yen. For me (in UK) it works out cheaper than lootbar

i use tunnelbear for stuff like this there is a free tier that isn't a limited trial. it just has a 2gb/mo limit. you couldn't use it as a general purpose vpn, but its perfect if you need to be in japan for 10 seconds every now and then

are you EU based? or even just England. i assume something with the laws of your country are stopping it from being available, since Google play with an Aussie account lets me download it. you could always make a JP account and download it that way basically just get a free VPN like Tunnelbear and s

HACKED! Help!
Happened to me last month. First things first: Install TunnelBear VPN so that your friend can receive a call for recovery / OTP on their phone. This way it won't go to the hackers. The sim card has been mirrored, hence the reason why they're receiving the codes. TunnelBear is free for 2 weeks or so.
