What is a luxury you can never go back from once you’ve experienced it?

Not OP but I had a tuft & needle mint mattress and I loved it so much. I had to give it away when I moved overseas (and yes it got SNATCHED up, even as a used mattress) and I haven’t been able to find a suitable replacement. Also, I’m poor now.

Best foam mattress for first home? Furnishing from scratch

Hey OP, check out https://www.sleeplikethedead.com It’s how I picked my mattress based on what I wanted. It asks for preferences(firmness, coolness, weight support, sleep position, etc), budget, and more. FYI I ended up with the Tuft and Needle Mint foam mattress and I love it, going on almost 10 ye

Mattress purchase advice

I’m so sorry, I said stitch & needle but I should have said tuft & needle. yes it’s all foam. The “mint” part is a cooling gel, which is why we got it (my husband runs hot). But I haven’t found the foam inspire a sinking feeling like memory foam or cause any pinch point pain. I’m an hourglass shape

In what small way have you won the genetic lottery?

Look into Tuft and Needle beds. I have a terrible back and have had multiple surgeries and it’s been the best mattress I’ve ever owned. Like you, I found Sleep Number price a little salty. I got a king size 5 years ago for a little over 1,000 and have it directly on a slat frame. It hasn’t developed

What's the best mattress I can buy right now?

I love my Tuft and Needle Mint mattress. My aunt and uncle stayed and loved it too so they bought one. Then my dad tried it and bought one too. We’ve had ours for 5 years and it still feels great.

What actually works for side sleepers?

I have enteropathic arthritis. I woke up daily in pain until we got the Tuft and Needle Mint mattress. Have had it for at least 8 years and it is in as good a shape as it was when we got it. No more pain in my hips, knees, shoulders. I recommend this mattress to everyone with pain.

Do Tuft & Needle mattresses have a chemical smell?

I have Tuft and Needle mattresses: an Original queen and a king Mint. They are both seven years old and holding up well. We love them. We also have the pillows and love them, too. I do not remember any smells, but I am guessing they both had one that dissipated quickly.

Has anyone been HAPPY with their mattress?

We got a tuft and needle mint mattress just about 6 years ago. Loved it from the first sleep and it’s still great. Always look forward to coming home when we travel to our mattress.

What are the benefits of spending over $1000 on a bed?

I think $1000–$1500 is the sweet spot. Mattresses generally last 6-8 years if they’re the online bed-in-a-box kind. Spring mattresses from a store might last 10-12 years but are generally like $5000. There are several good brands online, but lots of bogus marketing all over the internet, including o

Nectar, Tuft & Needle, Sealy, I've read almost everything and still don't know what to buy

I have had four t&n original mattresses (because when we bought ours, they didn’t have the hybrid or mint!) and WE LOVE THEM… they’re the most comfortable mattresses ever. I’m a stomach and side sleeper, my husband is a side and back sleeper who gets very hot (but not with out t&n mattress), and our
