Router Recommendations for AirLink

Looking at getting a new router, though I’m torn on a few things.

I like the TP-Link Deco XE75 for a multi-floor townhouse style apartment. But I keep seeing negative things about mesh networks and VR streaming, but a lot of what I’ve read is from 7+ months ago. Are the issues fixed?

I'll ask this question here.

EDIT: I live in in the Northeast, currently Xfinity can't legally cap the data here. So even if I get rid of the XB7, I thankfully don't have to worry about caps. At least not yet.
