Same here. Performance just got slower and slower. Moved to the TP-Link Deco XE75 Pro and haven't looked back. The increase in speed and connection strength around the house is absurd

This! Tp-Link Deco XE75 Pro is awesome. With support now for 1GB from my ISP (Spectrum) and zero issues since converting over 6 months ago, this is an absolute no brainer. Save yourself time and aggrevation and do it!

im running TP-Link Deco XE75 Pro solid! i have friends that dont need wifi 6, they use E4 and works great.

Ethernet back haul from main Deco to laptop alongside mesh? Or Ethernet from satellite Deco?

Is starlink worth it? Will it work in my area well?
Buy a better router. I recommend mesh in your case, a couple TP Link DECO XE75 PRO for your case with 2Gbps fiber.

Is a wifi extender a good option?
A mesh system is the answer, if you can run a cable for back-haul that would be better. I have had really good luck with the TP-Link Deco XE75 Pro 3 pack for a 3 story house.

Is the included AT&T Wi-Fi 6 gateway enough for a 2-story, 2,200 sq ft home?
That equipment is reaching the end of it's productive life. AT&T installer will test out your signal and try to sell you on an extender, but unless it's hardwired with ethernet you're going to have a bad time. Issue is I believe the cost is $25/month which I don't feel is worth it. For $200 you get
