New TP-Link zero-day surfaces as CISA warns other flaws are exploited
Not saying we should ignore this problem but TP Link is one of the cheaper hardware so there you go. I have Deco x55 and i do receive 2 firmware update so far on its entire 1 year cycle. If you want something pro privacy, than you would have to, most likely, go with more expensive brand

Gfiber modern router selection for fps gaming
DOCSIS 3.1 is for cable internet, not fiber. EDIT: You won’t need a modem since modems aren’t a thing for fiber internet. All you’ll need is a router to insert directly into the ONT (what GFiber refers to as the “fiber jack”). As for a router, you may want to look at Ubiquity Unifi systems. FWIW, I

Do these power line extenders really work ?
powerline ethernet - it's hit and miss - I had 'gigabit' ones when attempting to resolve issues with the TV/iplayer buffering/messing about - but they couldn't do more than 80mbit/s ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07ZWFMYTY ) and I ended up having to power cycle them roughly once a month. I've since

Help choosing the right TP-Link mesh device?
I’ll share what I went from to what I have now. Former: TP-Link Archer A6 AC1200 & TP-Link RE-315 wireless range extender (both with the TP-Link branded OneMesh feature). Fiber internet with 250Mbps plan. Current: 3-point TP-Link X55 Deco wired with ethernet. Seamless roaming enabled and QoS configu

best AP or mesh system for Starlink
I’m happy with the TP-Link X55 Deco system. Have used it both with and without Ethernet backhaul and was pleased with the results either way.

Deco ethernet backhaul megathread
After trial and error leading me to here, I found the route cause of my Deco random disconnections that have been occurring for years. These switches from TP-Link do NOT work, Initially tried with Deco S7 also tried with BE63 & X55 Pro TP-Link 8-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch (TL-SG1008D) TP-Link 5-Por

TP-Link Deco X55 Keeps Rebooting
I was having issues with the X55 in my mixed Deco network causing my Wyze non-camera IoTs to be dropped off the network. The final straw was upon rebooting the network, the X55 kept going from green for about 30 seconds to flashing red for a couple minutes back and forth. I removed the X55 completel

Slow WiFi router (Nokia 5G)
Start first by running a wired speed test on your router to see if the placement gets you the best speed. Because sometimes the problem lies on the source. If the speed is good and it’s not what you are getting over wifi, than it’s absolutely a must for the new router. I would start to consider betw

Need advice: best way to improve Wi-Fi in a 3-story concrete house
For a quick, easy and uncomplicated setup TP-Link mesh systems are a good option. You didn't specify your internet speed, so I'll assume 1gbps max. If it's faster than that you'll want to get a mesh system that can match it. For example if you have 2gbps service you'll want a mesh system with 2.5gbp

Could my TP-Link Deco X20 system be causing persistent network disconnects on both Wi-Fi and Ethernet?
A 5 port gigabit switch is like 20€ so that’s an easy test, plus you can return it if you don’t need it. Do you have the same issue on WiFi? And finally I would upgrade your main Deco unit, and again, where I live you can return it within 30 days if it’s packed nice and has not signs of use. Maybe t
