What wifi and/or mesh brand are you using?
I just went to TP Link Deco BE63 with 3 units in preparation of moving to fiber as it becomes available (lines were trenched in over the summer), so far so good, though I don't like that almost all management must be done with an app and not a web interface.

Deco BE25 only giving 400-500 mbps compared to the 1.2gbps mentioned in the Deco app under internet speed test
So just for kicks I turned off the 6ghz band on my BE63, made my phone renegotiate to 5ghz. If you go in the advanced settings and check your channel bandwidth for your 5ghz band, @160mhz I get about ~700-800 mbps, @80hz I get around 400mbps.. so check that I’m sitting about 5 feet away from the dec

Best Modem and Router 2025
Aris G54 if you want an absolute beast of a motor router combo. Personally though, we are running a Hitron CODA56 cable modem with a Tp-Link Deco BE63 mesh system.

which one to buy
I had the XE75 Pro 3 pack for 3 years. I recently updated my wireless to the BE63 3 pack. It's WiFi 7 just like the BE65 but just a bit slower. It's a bit less expensive too. https://www.tp-link.com/us/compare/?typeId=5757&productIds=73573,80105

Extremely Satisfied w/Firewalla
I had/have netgear cm3000 modem, and tp link be63 mesh with wired backhaul. I have an unmanaged switch, and a few RPis doing things like pihole, NAS, etc.. My BE63s were running as the router. I just set up the firewalla in router mode, and made my BE63 an AP so disabled its own routing. I couldn’t

BE63 node performance across floors without an ethernet backhaul
run a cable will always be the best option. If most of your Wi-Fi devices are upstairs, running a new cable drop to move your service to that floor is the best way to get the full benefit of your 2 Gbps service. Main router: You didn’t mention if your main router is a Deco or not. If it is, then you

Help with Screenbeam Moca 2.5 & TP Link Deco M5
I got it working. Nice. Well done. so then I went back to the junction box and attached the 3-way splitter, but connected only the coax line bringing internet into the basement. If going this route, make sure this is an unbalanced 3-way, with the low loss port feeding the modem location. (And MoCA-c

Actual AP Coverage
There are other options for wired backhaul. If there is coax running through the house, you can use MoCA adapters for wired backhaul. If nothing else, there are the PowerLine adapters that use your homes' electrical system to pass the data. I am using 4 TP Link AV2000 PowerLine adapters for backhaul

Recommendations for upgrading mesh wifi
I have BE63. My home is 3k sq feet. Main router is center of home first floor hard wired. One upstairs connected through mesh and one in garage. I don’t have nearly as many devices connected as you but I can honestly say I always hitting about 800-990 speeds throughout the home and outside. My servi

Does TP-Link Deco BE63 use Qualcomm chipset?
They are extremely similar, and yes I do believe the BE63 uses a QUALCOMM chipset. I forget what chipset it is but I know that it has a 1.5 GHz quad core CVU, so I'm guessing that that means it's ARM Cortex A53 based, and a gigabyte of RAM along with 128 MB of storage. But with Tp-Link routers, espe
