How often to reboot Deco

Why are Decos so disastrously bad? Their firmware quality is absolute garbage. Seriously. They can't support non-standard network configurations to save their own lives. Absolutely absurd. I'm currently fighting with our four node BE63, which seems to enjoy the hobby of causing our Kasa devices, whi

Finally able to use my BE63 after two years of sitting in my closet.

I had the XE75 as well and I loved that router and it never gave me problems either but once I moved over to the BE 63 I had nothing problem since I got it The first problem I had was the Samsung S ultra phones, had a bug where It would crash the BE-63 like every 2 minutes. That lasted about two or

Deco app showing fast download but….

Hmm, id reach out to TPlink in that case. There was a bug with the decos I have (be63) where it would ignore the wired backhaul and default to 2.4ghz backhaul. It was fixed, I dont know if the be25 might have the same bug

Best WiFi Mesh UK

We have a Deco BE63 system that is fine, but Decos are so hit and miss. I see many people saying that they have great experiences, some say that it's terrible. My dad has issues specifically with his work laptop, as do some of our ring security cameras, everything else is fine. So even on the same s

Deco BE65 - limited to 4 in a mesh?

Hi, Its worth checking the firmware version on them, as it seems the latest published version (1.3.2) for the BE65 v2 also introduced satellite node instability. I have 6 nodes but mixed, and a few of my satellite nodes would keep dropping off/on all the time. This looks to be resolved in a new pre-

Deco BE11000 doesn’t know which port is coming from modem

I forget where it is in the app, but Tp-Link recently pushed a firmware to I believe the BE65 and the BE63 that allows you to assign a static WAN port that doesn't change even if you move the WAN. I haven't had a situation that fully tested this, but I'm pretty sure that this will fix the issue as t

Im on the newest beta firmware. That is what has worked for me and been suggested for be63s from tp link support and others that I have talked to in tp links forum that also have the same instability problems.

Trouble keeping all my KASA devices connected to the network

I'm running into a similar issue. We have way less devices than you do, in total we have the potential to have somewhere around 110 clients online at once, usually it's between 90 and 100, and for some reason the Kasa devices of all of our different devices are by far the least reliable. They were p

Youtube won’t work on MY wifi

Any resolution to this issue? Just switched to a TP Link Deco BE63 and now YouTube won't play videos on Android or iOS. Other devices work fine. Videos will play after leaving for about 2min. I am using 8.8.8.8 as a DNS, no private DNS on my device. No VPN either.

Deco BE25 (latest firmware) randomly assigns 192.168.0.x IPs in AP mode — gateway doesn't exist, internet dies

I have a similar issue on the BE63. We run four of them in router mode. I believe twice now, we've lost Internet and the Decos have decided to reassign our DHCP pool to the 192.168.0 and then up to the the .3 range, cause why not? Luckily for us, we still had Internet access. The real fun starts whe
