Finally switched to TP-Link Deco
I did the same and moved to the same company (TP-Link Deco 7 Pro BE63 Tri-Band WiFi 7 BE10000). So happy with my internet/networking now without the weekly reboots I had automated with Google WiFi.

I have TP Link's Deco E4 for mesh network - what should I upgrade to?
Just got the TP-Link Deco 7 Pro BE63 from Amazon for 324 dollars and it works great. So much faster than my m5s. 3 of them cover my 4500 square foot house with high speeds.

Recommendations for a good, simple, ideally small wireless media bridge for short range?

The model is a TP-Link Deco 7 Pro BE63 Tri-Band WiFi 7 BE10000. And I need the Homeshield to just block malicious content from everyone on the network. I can't be adding users everytime someone new joins my network.

GCI is not giving you what you pay for.

Mesh WiFi suddenly unreliable (drops + weak nodes) — time to replace?
As a follow-up, I replaced my Google Mesh network with the TP-Link Deco 7 Pro BE63, and it has completely resolved the issues. The entire system is performing much better.
