How do WiFi extenders work?
They do work but it is not quite plug it in and forget it like people expect. I tried a couple random extenders first and they technically connected but performance was messy with drops and slowdowns. I ended up using the TP Link BE550 Mesh system and it was a lot more predictable. You still need to

Megvalósítható ez a wifi mesh rendszer a lakásban?
Ne a Deco-t vedd, hanem easymesh kompatibilis cuccot.

Which router should I buy? Or any better suggestions
Same, it’s listed as BE9300 (Archer BE550) on Amazon. It works great for me, zero issues in having it for a year. Plenty of options to customize and signal strength is great. I already had a WiFi 6 TP-Link router and I upgraded my main unit and kept the old one to use in the garage as a mesh WiFi no

Finally FTTH 2.5 gb but now? Mesh system...which one?
This won't work with Deco Mesh. It will work with easymesh. You could buy some TP link BE550, which are great for the price (usually on sale for $170), as they are easymesh compatible. The other option would be to get something like the Decos connected directly to the ONT and not use this router. Al

City Fibre Router suggestions?
I've got the BE550, no issues with it whatsoever. Currently running it with Nufibre and on 2.3Gbps symmetrical. Ethernet speed tests max that out without a hitch and WiFi 7 can hit around 1.5Gbps down, 2Gbps up. Running a NAS off of one port, a dedicated torrent PC off of another and a home mesh kit

G5AR gateway, without ethernet vs with ethernet. should i get a router?
Yes, get a router connect it to Ethernet and move it where you have the best wifi signal while leaving the gateway where you have the best cell signal. Everyone has been complaining about wifi disconnects so you will kill two birds with one stone. Fyi: I am using the g5ar connected to a be550 with a
