Yes, get a router connect it to Ethernet and move it where you have the best wifi signal while leaving the gateway where you have the best cell signal. Unrelated, I had big Plex issues with the be550. But I updated to the latest firmware and there fixed now finally.

I’ve got the TP Link BE550 Pro, not too expensive, but it may be overkill for some. Depending on your house setup, you might want to check mesh systems.

So i got the BE550 today and only a few hours in but my speeds went from 940mb to 1050-1100, wireless is good too. Ready for the upgrade to 2.5gb it seems.

I'd recommend the TP-LInk Be550 because it's a fantastic router and is much better than the BT Smarthub I had before it. It's also future proof too for wifi 7 as well as having good compatibility with the previous wifi versions. Just make sure to set your security settings to wpa2/wpa3 mixed mode, t
