Quick Question: For Virtual Desktop, which PRISMXR router is the recommended?

Virtual Desktop has their own discord server. The volunteers there are very knowledgeable on which routers to use, and will even advise you on how to set it up. This is the current recommended list as produced by their bot using the /routers command: The following routers have been reported to work

Help, I think we need a new router whats the best options?

I had some lower end Lynxis router and tons of issues with portal, got myself TP-Link's Archer AXE75 for Christmas and let me tell you, this thing is a beast. No issues since, and super simple app to manage network and all settings.

Galaxy XR or Pimax Dream Air for PCVR / Movies / Flatscreen gaming?

I got the TP-Link Archer AXE75 off Ebay for $50. I originally got it for my Quest 3 before I upgraded to the GXR, but it works perfectly for me for the GXR

New update just dropped

Just weighing in and adding on to u/SameWeekend13 answers. Some ISP supplied routers are trash because of cheap skate components, planned obsoletion, or lack of functionality. I had an reputable brand modem/router combo in the form of an netcomm nf18acv. (Individual user ratings may vary) It did ser

Looking for Router Recommendations Please

For that size home, go for the TP-Link Archer AXE75 for great range, or the AX80 if you want more speed. The Nighthawk AX12 is also a solid pick

Router?

I'm using a TP-Link Archer AXE75 which works very well no issues. You can use any modern router with a gigabit WAN port but also one with Wifi 6 capability is advisable given the speeds coming in.

Need router recommendations; currently using AX68U

If parental controls with easy scheduling are a must, then sticking with Asus makes sense since their app is one of the better ones for that. Given your budget and setup, a few options to look at: Asus RT-AX86S / AX86U (open box or refurb): Strong Wi-Fi 6 performance, good range for a two-story hous

Looking for a relatively cheap Wifi 6E or better access point for streaming PC games

You'll be connecting the access point via ethernet to the Linksys MX4200's router (main mesh node), correct? And configuring the router (you are considering the TP-Link Archer AXE75) as an access point, yes? If so, that should work fine. The AXE75 is tri-band (2.4ghz/5ghz/6ghz) so if any of your dev

Router recommendations.

I set up a pair of Archer AXE75 yesterday and so far so good. Easymesh wasn’t that easy to set up but after some fiddling got it going. I can get the 6GHz band to my only device (Alienware laptop) that supports it on the second floor, with main router in the basement, which is great. I did notice ho

Just can't seem to get Quest 3 PCVR working no matter what I try. Any advice?

Have you double checked on the Virtual Desktop discord if the 6ghz router you're using is one of their recommended ones? I had problems with VD for a long time, even tried the Puppis S1. Nothing worked. Finally, bought the TP Link Archer AXE75. Truly. I should've bought this router before. I tried t
