Help, I think we need a new router whats the best options?
I had some lower end Lynxis router and tons of issues with portal, got myself TP-Link's Archer AXE75 for Christmas and let me tell you, this thing is a beast. No issues since, and super simple app to manage network and all settings.

Can anyone recommend a good tri band router with good WiFi range?
I've been having great range with the TP-Link AXE5400 (Archer AXE75). Not sure about long term use though with issues around TP-Link, and the potential removal from the market in the US.

Any recommendations for routers for a 1gig plan
I have a TP Link Archer AXE75 and it's rock solid. I hear Asus routers are better but I've never used them.

What modems do you suggest?
You will really want one that Has wifi 6e or wifi 7 with 6ghz to future proof yourself. Even if you are only on a quest 2 now.... do yourself a favor and get something with 6ghz. As time goes on, I tend to trust the Virtual Desktop discord recommendations this is the current list:----- The following

Tri-band Router Recommendations?
The Archer AXE75 is a great tri-band router, fast and stable, and the 6 GHz band helps a lot with gaming and streaming. In houses with a lot of dead zones, the Deco X20 mesh might be a better option.

PCVR is a pain
Can't even imagine why you have problems to play HL2 VR. If you can start SteamVR, it is literally click and play. Maybe you have either a bad router or too many devices connected to it. My approach was to buy a router with 6e signal and ONLY connect the headset to the 6e SSID, and play as close as

Looking for a router to use as a WiFi Switch
You can totally swap that old airport for a new router and run it in AP mode since you already have the CAT5 cable - way better than using extenders. If you want something solid and easy to set up, check out options like the D-Link AX5400 or TP-Link Archer AXE75 WiFi6E routers. Both are super reliab

Can you critique/suggest the best option for live individual in-ear mix
What’s airport? The apple router? I would get the most powerful router you can afford. Look for processing speed/memory and signal strength. The more it has the better it will perform. You can’t use cheap routers anymore they just drop out constantly. TP-Link Archer AXE75 is a good option. The Ubiqu
