Router?

I'm using a TP-Link Archer AXE75 which works very well no issues. You can use any modern router with a gigabit WAN port but also one with Wifi 6 capability is advisable given the speeds coming in.

Can anyone recommend a good tri band router with good WiFi range?

I've been having great range with the TP-Link AXE5400 (Archer AXE75). Not sure about long term use though with issues around TP-Link, and the potential removal from the market in the US.

Think I need to upgrade my Wifi router - which is best?

Your current router struggles to keep up with all those devices and your house. For a 1 Gig Fios plan and multiple gadgets, you’ll want something strong and reliable that covers the basement and upstairs well. I’d recommend checking out mesh WiFi systems like the NETGEAR Orbi AX 6000 or the Syrotech

Gaming Router Options

I use a TP-Link Archer AXE75. Works very good for gaming. It has wifi 6e. So you get 6ghz bands on top of 5ghz and 2.4ghz. Honestly tp-link is the only brand i buy now. Affordable and high quality.

Get a puppis s1 they said... they are great they said.

Same here, i've never made that thing work. Look through the FAQ's of the official website, search on every post on internet, watched videos en youtube, never had better than a crappy bitrate. Ditch that garbage for a TP-Link Archer AXE75 router, works perfectly fine.
